Charles Tull 1934-2025

Charles Dwain Tull, 90, of Osceola, IA (formerly of Mt. Ayr, IA and Hatfield, MO) passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025, at an Osceola, IA nursing home.

He was born on December 25, 1934, in Hatfield, Missouri the son of Willie Muriel and Lillian Angeline (Hall) Tull.

On May 19, 1954, he married Jannie Ilene Stanley in Ridgeway, MO. She preceded him in death on April 18, 2016.

Charles served as a machinist in the United States Military and farmed all his life. He was a lifetime attendant of the Assembly of God Church.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Ivan Dwain, John David, and Charles William “Little Willie” Tull; siblings, Bonnie Fay Tull, Lola Mae Parkhurst, Willie Lee Tull, Wyvonne Tull, Glenn Doyle Tull, and Garry Lynn Tull; granddaughter, Amanda Cobb; and great-great grandchildren, Chloe and two infants.

Charles is survived by his sons, Carrol Jay Tull, Mt. Ayr, IA and Paul (Lori) Tull, Creston, IA; grandchildren, Angelina (Robert) Shaw, Anthony Tull, Bethany Burgess, Kristen (Noah) Hamilton, and Brandon Tull; sister, Leona Weddle, Bethany, MO; sisters-in-law, Donna Tull, Eagleville, MO, Judy Tull, Hatfield, MO; 21 great grandchildren; 27 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 19 at Roberson Funeral Home, Eagleville, MO. Inurnment followed in Payne Cemetery, Hatfield, MO. The family received friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
