Ryan Riley, Mustang Boys Rain Threes on Trojans

It was raining threes in Union Star Monday as the Mustang Boys ran away with the first round game of the Platte Valley Invitational 65-22. They rained nine threes on Union Star, as Ryan Riley had five, and four other Mustangs had at least one. They took a 23-5 lead after one and never looked back, leading 37-12 at the half.

Ryan Riley had 21 in the win. Tyler Bix and Karson Oberhauser had 11. Andrew Blackford and Austin Bird had 9, while Wyatt O’Riley had 4.

The Mustangs had their game with North Harrison postponed. They draw their archrival West Nodaway Wednesday in Northeast Nodaway Wednesday. North Nodaway punched their ticket to Northwest on Friday with the win after having gotten to the title round last year.
