On December 9th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Zachary Bernard (27) of St. Joseph alleging Burglary (Felony) and Stealing.

On December 9th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Myra Bernard (28) of St. Joseph alleging Burglary (Felony), Stealing, and Assault.

On December 9th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Roy Kunkle III (54) of St. Joseph alleging Assault (Felony), Burglary (Felony), Armed Criminal Action (Felony), and Unlawful Use of a Weapon (Felony). Bond was set at $50,000, cash or corporate surety.

On December 9th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Lawrence Bohall (51) of Council Bluffs alleging Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and Stealing.

On December 9th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Trevin Wilmes (23) of Maryville alleging Burglary (Felony), Armed Criminal Action (Felony), Kidnapping (Felony), Stealing (Felony), and Tampering with a Motor Vehicle (Felony). Judge Roger Prokes found that no bond amount or release condition preserves victim or community safety; therefore, bond is denied.

On December 10th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Payton Jobe (21) of Green City alleging Operating Vehicle Owned by Another Who was Uninsured.

On December 10th, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Christian Crossley (35) of Bethany alleging No Insurance.

On December 10th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Seth Brown (20) of Grant City alleging No Insurance, Speeding, and No Seat Belt.

On December 11th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Charles Burnett (36) of McFall in Gentry County on a DeKalb County Felony Warrant (Probation Violation; Child Support).

On December 11th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Brae Tilton (34) of Darlington alleging Assault (Felony), Unlawful Use of a Weapon (Felony), and two counts Assault. Bond was set at $1,000, cash or corporate surety.

On December 12th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department arrested Charles Harmsen (49) of Clarinda (IA) on charges of Driving While Barred. Bond was set at $2,000, cash or surety.

On December 12th, two cop cars, one from Maryville Public Safety and one Sheriff’s Deputy, was headed eastbound on Business 71 in Maryville and turned left at the Casey’s on 16th street on the east end of town at around 2 pm.

On December 12th, two Sheridan residents reported that a dog had been wandering around town digging through their trash on trash pickup days.

On December 13th, Livingston County Prosecutor Adam Warren filed charges against Nathaniel Novotny (33) of Chillicothe alleging six counts Forgery (Felony). Bond was set at $10,000, cash only with no contact with victims and must be supervised by Supervision Services.

On December 13th, the Chillicothe police reported multiple vehicle break-Ins, theft, and vandalism the previous day.

CNN reports that on December 13th, a hacker broke into a Mississippi family’s Ring video camera, pretended to be Santa Claus, and encouraged an eight year old girl to destroy her room. Ring sells security cameras that allow families to monitor their homes. Ring says that families should set up passwords that are difficult to guess; for instance, don’t use a relative’s name or use the same password for all of your accounts. Also, use two factor authentication, in which you have to enter a code called in or texted to you in order to access your system after entering your password.

On December 13th, KMA reports that John Daniel Nielsen Sr. (40) of Omaha was sentenced to three years in prison and five years probation for soliciting sex with a 15 year old girl. He traveled to a Council Bluffs motel believing that he was meeting with a 15 year old girl; however, it turned out to be an undercover police officer, and he was arrested.

On December 13th, KQ2 reported that someone had robbed a Game Stop on South Belt Highway in St. Joseph and took cash and merchandise.

On December 13th, KQ2 reported that a man was struck by a car which accelerated, struck him while he was walking on the sidewalk, and also struck a handicap parking sign.

On December 13th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Tyler Bodnar (19) of Kansas City alleging Possession of Marijuana and No Plates.

On December 14th, KQ2 reports that two firefighters were injured battling a three alarm fire that damaged three homes that morning.

On December 14th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Adam Mosbarger (48) of Grant City in Worth County on a charge of DWI.

On December 15th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Kevin Aguirre (28) of Clive (IA) in Harrison County on a Clinton County Warrant for Failure to Appear (Speeding).

On December 16th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Kellan Asher (31) of Albany alleging Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On December 16th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Forest Buckman (29) of Albany alleging Unlawful Use of a Weapon (Loaded Weapon While Intoxicated, Felony), Possession of Marijuana (Prior) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Prior).

On December 16th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against John Singletary (52) of Pearl River (LA) alleging Driving While Revoked and Displaying Plates Belonging to Another.

On December 16th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Andrew Souders (23) of Plattsburg alleging Unlawfully Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

Charges listed are mere allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
