The game started off as a defensive struggle, but soon it became evident that the Shamrocks were getting one shot down the court and done. As the ball clanked hopelessly off the rim and into the hands of the Tina-Avalon skyscrapers, they pulled away to a 10-2 lead midway through the second. North Harrison didn't get a single offensive board until the 3:15 mark of the second, which they converted into an Ashlynn Gilpatrick 3-pointer.
The Shamrocks fought back to within 13-7 at the half and then tied it up with back to back threes from Emma Craig and Camden Castleberry at the 6:28 mark of the third quarter. North Harrison switched from their usual man to a zone. The deficit hovered between 1 and 3 for the next few minutes, but then Tina-Avalon, who had scored 40 or more in all their games despite having just one win, started hitting from the outside at will while North Harrison went cold. The lead grew again to 25-18 after three before Samantha Rounkles scored seven in the fourth as her team pulled away.
Camden Castleberry had 6 points for North Harrison. Emma Craig and Kami Gibson had 4, Ashlynn Gilpatrick 3, Rainey Fordyce 2, and Carly Rinehart 2. Emma Craig had 8 boards. Kami Gibson had 6, Rainey Fordyce, Jayliegh Robins, and Camden Castleberry 3, and Carly Rinehart, Trendi Johnson, and Halle Morgan 1 each.
