Bob was born on July 7, 1935 in Hopkins, Missouri to the late Orville and Opal (Riley) Wilson.
He was salutatorian of his 1953 class of Hopkins High School and attended Northwest Missouri State University. He was a member of Wray Memorial United Methodist Church in Hopkins.
In 1955 he worked for Burlington Railroad in Kansas City. In 1956 he moved to Los Angeles, California. He was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad for 41 years until his retirement in 1997.
He is survived by many cousins and friends in Northwest Missouri, California, and Arizona.
Graveside Services and burial were 3 pm Friday, December 13th under the care of Price Funeral Home at the Hopkins Cemetery in Hopkins, Missouri. The family received friends from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm Friday at the Price Funeral Home in Maryville.
