Tiger Boys Third at Stanberry Invite

Worth County's boys were third at the Stanberry Invitational as they finished with 67 points. DeKalb was first with 87 and Mound City second with 83 in the crowded field. Worth County finally beat out Stanberry after narrowly losing to them twice earlier this year as Stanberry finished fourth with 66 points.

Eli Mullock won the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 11.11. He beat out Dominick Fleeks of Stewartsville by 5 hundredths of a second in one of the best races of the day.

Levi Kalal knocked 20 seconds off his time in the 3200 and finished 5th with a time of 11:52.54. That was slightly over a minute off the pace set by Colton Blay of West Nodaway.

Worth County was 5th in the 4x800 as they finished with a time of 1:39.27. That was three seconds off the pace set by Stanberry in the event.

Worth County finished 1-2 in the Discus as Brian Hall continued to dominate that event. He finished with a throw of 124'4" while Dallas Greenland was second with a throw of 122'1", which was one of his personal best throws. They were 20 feet ahead of the rest of the field.

Worth County had a strong day in the throwing events and they were 1-3 in the Shot Put. Brian Hall won that event for his second win of the afternoon while Dylan Kinsella threw for a personal best 38 feet to finish third.

Eli Mullock was 6th in the Long Jump with a jump of 17'11 1/2". That was 3'2" off the pace set by Brent Bush of DeKalb.

Mitch Andrews tried his hand at a faster event and finished 4th in the 400 with a time of 54.33. That was two seconds off the pace set by Lafayette Fleeks of Stewartsville.

Eli Mullock was second in the 200 as he lost to Dominick Fleeks of Stewartsville. He finished with a time of 23.65, which was .27 of a second behind Fleeks.

Worth County was 4th in the 4x400 as they finished with a time of 3:55.32. That was 13 seconds off the pace set by the winning Mound City squad.
