U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) issued the following statement Tuesday after voting to pass H.R. 4, the 1099 repeal bill, which would repeal the onerous mandate in President Barack Obama’s onerous health spending bill:
“By passing this amendment, we have taken the first major step toward dismantling ObamaCare. If left intact, this burdensome mandate would impose onerous and costly reporting requirements on an estimated 40 million job creators nationwide, stifling much-needed economic development in Missouri and across America. I remain committed to repealing and replacing President Obama’s costly health spending bill, and today’s vote marks a major step in the right direction.”
Last month on the anniversary of President Obama signing his health care bill into law, Blunt released a video highlighting real Missourians who are impacted by ObamaCare. Please click here to watch the video.
