David graduated from the Grant City High School. He was a self-employed house painter. He married Carol Jeanne Steele on September 27, 1980 in Bethany. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors are 5 sons: Joseph Lemus of Seattle, WA; Ted Lemus of Phoenix; Mike Fletchall of Whittier, CA; Thad and Matt Fletchall, both of Kansas City; 2 daughters, Athena Wilson of San Antonio and Tara Beth Fletchall of Kansas City; brother John Lindsey Fletchall of Grant City; sisters Lois Lager of Liberty; Sherry Cagnacci of Orient, IA; She Asher of Grant City; and Nona Jennings of Creston; and 13 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; 3 sons, David Lemus, and Tony and Tye Fletchall; and one brother, Marty Fletchall. David was a loving husband and father. He had such a great sense of humor and will be sadly missed by family and friends.
A celebration of life is planned for the summer when children can be present with interment in the Allendale Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City.
