Eli Mullock Breaks School Record in 100 at Rock Port

Eli Mullock broke the school record for the 100 Meter Dash, breaking the 11 second barrier with a time of 10.92 as Worth County's boys finished fourth at the Rock Port Relays last Tuesday. Winnetonka won the event with 80 points, followed by Rock Port with 73, Maysville with 64, and Worth County with 60.

Worth County placed two in the Pole Vault. Alex Harmening got one of his best vaults of the year with a 10'5", good enough for second place. Wyatt Rush was 5th with a season high vault of 9 feet.

In the Triple Jump, Grant Parman was 4th with a jump of 37' 6 1/4". That was one of his best jumps of the year as he was able to place in the tough field.

Worth County was 2-3 in the Discus. Brian Hall was second with a throw of 122'1" as he has been consistently throwing over the 120 foot mark. Dallas Greenland was third with a 116'11". In the Shot Put, Hall was 6th with one of his best throws of the year, getting 40'10".

Worth County's 4x800 had one of their best times of the year and got 4th. They got a time of 9:05.12, which was 4.34 off the pace set by Maysville.

Eli Mullock only finished third in the prelims, but that seemed to spur him on as he beat out Trey Spann of Winnetonka with a time of 10.92, .14 seconds in front. Kylynn Sisk was 3rd with 11.18 while Dominick Fleeks, another close competitor, was 4th with a time of 11.33.

Worth County was 4th in the 4x100 as they finished with a time of 47.76, 1.34 seconds off the pace set by Albany.

Mitchell Andrews placed 6th in the 400 with a time of 56.66. That was 3.81 seconds off the pace set by Lafayette Fleeks of Stewartsville.

Eli Mullock was 3rd in the 200 despite running one of his best times of the year. He finished with a time of 23.39. Trey Spann of Winnetonka won with a time of 23.04 while Dominick Fleeks of Stewartsville was 2nd with a time of 23.09.

Levi Kalal was 3rd in the 3200 with a time of 11:29.22. That was 46.42 seconds behind the pace set by Colton Blay of West Nodaway.
