The Pickering family gathered June 19th at the Allendale Community Building.
Everyone was excited to meet cousins we hadn’t met before and some we hadn’t seen in a while.
There were 35 of us and the food tables were full.
Grandpa Will and Grandma Sue would have been pleased.
Randy and Tina brought a wooden rolling pin and everyone signed it as a keepsake.
Attending and telling stories were: Randy & Tina Sweat (Albany), Billie Fern Wake and Diane Garrett (Grant City), Jerry and Susanne Hiatt (Kansas City), Ang LeMay (Grant City), John and Darleen Kenny (Denver), Vicki Pickering (Atchison), Shaun, Lane, Elanor, David, and Samuel Pickering (Pataskala, Ohio), Tina Long, Jacqueline Stevens Leathers (Kansas City), Linda Pittsenbarger Pickering (Mount Ayr), Greg and Amy (Pickering) Mobley (Maloy), Maddie and Aubry Sickels (Bedford), Marcia Beagle (Grant City), Mike and Becky Worley (Kansas City), Barb Pickering (Grant City), Todd and Stephanie Pickering (Wakefield, Kansas) and Dawsyn (Grant City), Judy Steinman, Whitney, Isaac, Daelynn, and Hudson Landry (Albany).
The family will get together again in December at the Oldtowne Café.
