Despite a three year old war between Russia and Ukraine, which shows no sign of ending any time soon, a five year old girl there has not let that stop her.
On Saturday, five year old Regina Abramova from Lviv (Ukraine) became the youngest child to climb Mount Hoverla, the highest mountain in Ukraine, Ukraine News Network and New Voice of Ukraine reported. She did so in two hours and 29 minutes with no outside help.
This was the second record she has set. In April, she set a Ukrainian record for the longest inverted hang on gymnastic rings, with a hang of 5 minutes and 52 seconds. She participates in numerous gymnastics competitions and running competitions.
