On July 14th, Endrina Bracho (34) of St. Charles pleaded guilty in St. Louis County Circuit Court to charges of Involuntary Manslaughter (Felony) and two counts Assault (Felony). A presentence investigation was ordered and the defendant will be sentenced at a later date. The charges arose after the defendant, an undocumented immigrant from Venezuela, drove the wrong way on a divided highway and killed an 11 year old boy one day before their 12th birthday. The case generated an uproar in right-wing circles, with Senator Josh Hawley blasting what he saw as overly lenient treatment of the defendant by the court system; she was released without having to post bond at one point.
On July 14th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 42 year old woman from Ridgeway was injured when her vehicle lost control while attempting to turn from Route 136 onto Church Street in Mount Moriah, skidded on gravel, and struck a utility pole.
On July 15th, Jaquan Davis (36) of St. Joseph failed to appear in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), Driving While Revoked, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was denied.
On July 15th, Jeramiah Brittain (27) of Gallatin failed to appear in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court on charges of Violation of Protection Order. A warrant was issued and bond set at $1,000, cash only.
On July 15th, Vincent Hensen (43) of Cameron pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Peace Disturbance. He was fined $100 plus $117.50 in court costs by Judge Micha Lea Dixon.
On July 15th, Kayla O’Holleran (31) of Springfield failed to appear in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court on a charge of DWI. A warrant was issued and bond set at $500, cash only.
On July 16th, Joshua Craig (36) of Jamesport pleaded guilty in Daviess County Circuit Court to charges of Unlawful Use of Weapon (Felony) and Assault. A sentencing assessment report was ordered and sentencing will be held at a later date.
On July 16th, Shelby Lane (35) of Ridgeway pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to two counts Domestic Assault. She was placed on two years probation by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On July 16th, David Chandler (44) of King City pleaded guilty in Gentry County Circuit Court to charges of Driving While Revoked (Felony), Resisting Arrest, and DWI. He was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron. Defendant may not enter Gentry County except for court or to meet with his attorney.
On July 16th, Leonard Kewi (43) of Gentry pleaded guilty in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Stealing. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail by Judge Rebecca McGinley to be served on weekends and ordered to pay $115.50 in court costs.
On July 16th, Gregory Johnson (49) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Stealing. He was placed on probation for two years by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On July 16th, Treigh Fehring (27) of Ridgeway pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Resisting Arrest. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On July 17th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Michael Schneider (36) of Guilford alleging Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (Felony) and three counts Property Damage (Felony). Bond was denied.
On July 17th, Amanda Urban (37) of Albany pleaded guilty in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Domestic Assault. She was placed on two years probation by Judge Rebecca McGinley. Defendant must complete an anger management class.
On July 17th, Steven Ritter (35) of Moody (TX) failed to appear in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court for a charge of Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident). A warrant was issued and bond set at $152, cash only.
On July 18th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Draper Richardson (43) of Breckinridge in Daviess County on a charge of DWI.
On July 20th, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Dustin McPherson (45) of Jamesport alleging DWI, No Valid License, and Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident).
On July 21st, Rebecca Lane (31) of Jamesport pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to charges of Forgery (Felony) and Stealing (Felony). She was sentenced to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections by Judge Corey Herron, to be served concurrently with two other cases.
On July 21st, Nekota Neil (31) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to a charge of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). He was sentenced to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, to be served concurrently with a Christian County case.
On July 21st, Judge Corey Herron revoked the probation of Robert Rother (68) of Maitland and sentenced him to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. The court retains jurisdiction for 120 days and the DOC will make recommendations regarding incarceration or probation. The defendant had been convicted of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and was allegedly in violation for failing a drug test.
On July 21st, Jameson Shackelford (38) of Barnard failed to appear in Nodaway County Circuit Court on a charge of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Device (Felony). A bond forfeiture hearing was set for August 4th.
Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
