Multi-County Scrub Seal Project to Begin July 28

The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted Vance Brother Inc. for a scrub seal project that will lengthen the lifespan of roadways in seven counties. The project is scheduled to begin Monday, July 28. The contractor’s tentative schedule is as follows:

July 28 – Atchison County Route CC

July 30 – Atchison County Route KK

Aug. 1 – Atchison County Route Z

Aug. 5 – Nodaway County Route D

Aug. 6 – Nodaway/Atchison County Route C

Aug. 11 – Nodaway County Route KK

Aug. 13 – Nodaway County Route PP

Aug. 15 – Atchison County Route EE

Aug. 18 – Holt/Nodaway County Route DD

Aug. 20 – Holt County Route HH

Aug. 21 – Holt County Route B

Aug. 26 – Holt County Route H

Aug. 27 – Holt County Route BB

Aug. 28 – Holt County Route T

Sept. 2 – Nodaway/Gentry County Route M

Sept. 8 Gentry/Worth counties Route N

Sept. 11 – Harrison County Route EE

Sept. 15 – Harrison/Gentry counties Route ZZ

Sept. 18 – Daviess County Route AA

Traffic Impacts: During the scrub seals, each route will be reduced to one lane with a pilot car guiding motorists through the work zone. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place.

Crews are scheduled to work 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday. All routes are anticipated to be complete by October 2025.

All work is weather permitting and could be rescheduled.
