On July 8th, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Ashley Young (35) of Leon (IA) alleging Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident).
On July 9th, Cory Burchett (41) of Trenton pleaded guilty in Daviess County Circuit Court to a charge of Trafficking Drugs (Felony). A sentencing assessment report was ordered and sentencing will be held at a later date.
On July 9th, Tycene Wilson (56) of Bethany failed to appear in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court on a charge of Witness Tampering (Felony). A warrant was issued and bond set at $10,000, cash only.
On July 9th, following receipt of a violation report, Judge Jay Hemenway revoked the bond of Anastasha Navarro (41) of Ridgeway, who is facing charges of Misusing 911, Assault, and Resisting Arrest. A new bond was set at $10,000 with defendant given leave to post 10% cash.
On July 9th, Joshua Custer (41) of New Hampton pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to two counts of Assault. He was placed on one year probation, fined $500 plus costs, and ordered to pay $300 to the Law Enforcement Restitution Fund by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On July 9th, Justin Parkhurst (43) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Property Damage. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail to be served on weekends and ordered to make restitution and pay $300 to the Law Enforcement Restitution Fund by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On July 9th, Larry Shelton (45) of Kansas City pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident). He was placed on six months probation by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On July 9th, Matthew Waddle (49) of Trenton pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of DWI. He was fined $250 plus costs by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On July 9th, Stephanie Lofton (43) of Leavenworth (KS) pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to Violating Ignition Interlock Requirements. She was fined $200 plus costs by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On July 9th, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Orville Etherton (56) of Chillicothe alleging Stealing (Felony) and Trespassing. Bond was set at $10,000 with defendant released on his own recognizance.
On July 10th, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Chris McGee of Gallatin alleging seven counts Possession of Child Pornography (Felony) and Promotion of Child Pornography (Felony). Bond was denied. The charges arose following an investigation by the US Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations, the Missouri State Technical Assistance Team, and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
On July 10th, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Larry Crowder (67) of Cainsville alleging Failure to Register as Sex Offender (Felony). Bond was set at $30,000, cash only. If released on bond, defendant may not consume alcoholic beverages, enter bars, or have contact with minors. Defendant must wear GPS device and be on house arrest.
On July 10th, David Chandler (44) of King City pleaded guilty in Gentry County Circuit Court to charges of Driving While Revoked (Felony) and DWI. He was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron. Defendant may not enter Gentry County except to meet with attorney or for court. Defendant may not possess or consume alcoholic beverages or enter bars. Chandler also pleaded guilty to Burglary (Felony), Stealing, and Property Damage. He was sentenced to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections by Judge Corey Herron. Court retains jurisdiction for 120 days and the DOC will make recommendations to the court regarding incarceration or probation.
On July 10th, Jack Buckman (24) of Bethany admitting to violating his probation in Gentry County Circuit Court. Judge Corey Herron continued him on probation and ordered him to complete a residential treatment program. The Defendant is on probation for Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and Speeding.
On July 10th, Judge Micha Lea Dixon ordered the Missouri Department of Revenue to restore the driver’s license of Erin Ashbrook (45) of Cameron in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court if petitioner is otherwise qualified and meets statutory guidelines of minimum six-month ignition interlock with camera and SR-22. Petitioner must successfully complete the written, driving, vision, and road sign tests.
On July 10th, Judge Corey Herron revoked the probation of Cory Farrell (27) of Grant City in Worth County Circuit Court and imposed a sentence of four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. The defendant had been on probation for Driving While Revoked (Felony). Court retains jurisdiction for 120 days, and the DOC will make recommendations to the court regarding probation or imprisonment.
On July 10th, Gerald Hutchinson (66) of Albany pleaded guilty in Gentry County Circuit Court to charges of Unlawful Use of Weapon (Felony) and Assault. He was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron. Defendant must serve 10 days shock time in jail with credit for 9 days served. Defendant may have no contact with victims or enter Shadowfax Bar.
On July 10th, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Shelley Birmingham (57) of Milan alleging Forgery (Felony). An affidavit from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendant made false statements on a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms form while attempting to purchase a gun. Bond was set at $10,000, cash only.
On July 10th, DeKalb County Prosecutor Erik Tate filed charges against Wyatt Pankau (34) of Clarksdale alleging Making a Terrorist Threat (Felony), Harassment (Felony), and Peace Disturbance. Bond was set at $50,000, cash only.
On July 11th, Judge Daren Adkins ordered Joseph Randazzo (36) of Kearney to serve five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. Defendant had pleaded guilty to charges of Burglary (Felony) and Property Damage and had entered a 120 day callback program at the DOC. Judge Adkins ruled it would be an abuse of discretion to release the defendant on probation.
On July 11th, Lillian Jeffers (23) of Columbia (MO) was sentenced to three years in the Missouri Department of Corrections by Judge Daren Adkins in Daviess County Circuit Court for a charge of Domestic Assault (Felony) following a presentence investigation report. Court retains jurisdiction for 120 days and the DOC will make recommendations regarding probation or incarceration.
On July 12th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Tyler Guess (38) of King City alleging Driving While Suspended (Felony) and Speeding (74 mph).
On July 14th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Joseph McGrew (61) of Guilford alleging Peace Disturbance and Raymond Morriss (67) of Guilford alleging Harassment and Property Damage.
On July 14th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Vengalrao Yelluri (25) of Maryville alleging two counts Violation of Protection Order.
On July 14th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Richard Rogers (21) of Plaucheville (LA) alleging DWI and Failure to Obey Traffic Control Device.
On July 14th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Gerald Gaylan (50) of Burlington Junction alleging Financial Exploitation of Elderly Person (Felony), Stealing (Felony), Counterfeiting (Felony), and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Device (Felony). Bond was set at $30,000 signature bond. An affidavit from the Nodaway County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendant made $26,320 in unauthorized purchases from an elderly person’s bank account along with unauthorized bank card purchases totaling over $14,000. During a search warrant at the defendant’s residence, the affidavit alleges around $35,000 in counterfeit currency was recovered.
On July 14th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Kurby Parman (75) of Barnard alleging Leaving the Scene (Felony). An affidavit from the Maryville Police Department alleges that while attempting to get his car washed at a local business, the defendant struck a sign, causing $15,000 in damages, and then left the scene.
Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
