Wyatt Maize won twice for North Harrison’s track team at districts Saturday.
For the boys, Lane Graham qualified for the 100, finishing second with a time of 11.83 seconds. Tate Richardson was seventh with a time of 12.26. Lane Graham was third in the 200 with a time of 23.87, qualifying him in that event. Landon Johnson was seventh in the 400 with a time of 1:01.97. Lance Jacobs was sixth in the 110 Hurdles with a time of 22.42 seconds. He was eighth in the 300 Hurdles with a time of 57.34.
The 4x100 relay team of Lane Graham, Tate Richardson, Kolton Graham, and Wyatt Maize was third and extended their school record in the event with a time of 46.76.
Owan Robertson was sixth in the Shot Put with a throw of 11.54 meters. Landon Johnson was eighth in the High Jump with a height of 1.60 meters.
Wyatt Maize got the first of his two wins in the Long Jump with a jump of 6.58 meters. Lane Graham was third with a time of 6.31. Wyatt Maize’s second win was in the Triple Jump with a jump of 12.41 meters.
For the girls, Gracie Young was seventh in the 100 with a time of 14.22 seconds. Hali Smith won the 100 Hurdles with a time of 18.47.
Jaxcynn Hansel was eighth in the Discus with a throw of 21.81 meters. Hansel was seventh in the Javelin with a throw of 24.53 meters.
Hali Smith qualified in two other events besides the 100 Hurdles. She was third in the Pole Vault with a height of 2.29 meters. She was second in the Long Jump with a jump of 4.65 meters. Gracie Young was fourth in the Long Jump with a jump of 4.51 meters, also qualifying her.
