Janet Warner 1936-2025

Janet Nelson Warner, age 88, passed away at St. Lukes Hospital on May 6, 2025.  She received her ultimate healing stepping into the arms of Christ. 

Janet was born to the late H. Ivan Nelson and Wilda Leona (Knox) Nelson in Winner, South Dakota on December 13, 1936.  On December 9, 1965, she was united in marriage to Charles S. Warner.  To this union was born their three children, Barbara (Donald) Mullock, Rebecca (Jubal) Summers, and Duane (Tish) Warner.  Janet worked alongside her husband in his electrical and plumbing business for 40 years. 

Janet was preceded in death by her sisters, Vera Mae Nelson, Ellen Eileen Frescoln, Patrica Ann Lenker and brothers-in-law, Lowell Nelson, David Lenker, Robert Frescoln, Robert Stone, and Ronald McGuire. 

Janet is survived by her husband Charles, her three children, and stepson Darrell (Brenda) Warner.  She is also survived by her grandchildren:  Michael (Ashley) Mullock, Jonathan (Christina) Mullock, Katie (Alex) Harmening, Timothy (Sarah) Winters, Andrew (Michelle) Summers, Aaron (Taylor) Summers, Adam (Haylee) Summers, Alec (Anna) Summers, Joshua Warner, Keegan (Alexi) Warner, Nicole (Jordan) Day, and Sarah (Travis) Leggett.  Her great-grandchildren are Jace, Ian, and Declan Mullock, Braylee and Jackson Mullock, Joslynn Harmening, Lily, Matthew, and Claire Winters, Reece and Zoey Summers, Sloane Summers, Carter, Isaiah, and Clay Summers, Kerri Jo Warner, Oliver and Charlie Day, and Ember and Lennon Leggett.

Janet is also survived by her sisters Helen Stone and Shirley McGuire, and many nieces and nephews.

Janet’s family all lived close by and would talk with her often which was the joy of her life.  God blessed our family beyond measure.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the Allendale Baptist Church, Allendale, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Monday, May 12, 2025 at the church in Allendale. Burial will be in the Barnes Cemetery, Worth, Missouri.

Memorial: Allendale Baptist Church or the Barnes Cemetery.
