On May 19th, Yanmichael Gonzalez-Ulloa (35) of Olathe pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Trespassing. They were sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for time served by special Judge Rebecca McGinley. The case had been moved from Atchison County on a change of venue.
On May 19th, Kody Bradley (32) of Eagleville pleaded guilty in Harrison County Circuit Court to a charge of DWI. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail by Judge Matthew Krohn. Two other charges were dismissed by the prosecutor.
On May 19th, Bryan Tyler Wolfe (34) of Cainsville pleaded guilty in Harrison County Circuit Court to a charge of Burglary (Felony). He was sentenced to three years in the Missouri Department of Corrections with credit for 128 days served.
On May 19th, James Bertrand (47) of Zwolle (LA) pleaded guilty in Harrison County Circuit Court to a charge of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). He was sentenced to 120 days in jail by Judge Matthew Krohn with credit for time served.
On May 19th, Kyle Cline (40) of New Hampton pleaded guilty in Harrison County Circuit Court to a charge of Possession of Controlled Substance. He was sentenced to three years in the Missouri Department of Corrections by Judge Matthew Krohn with credit for 147 days served. Three other charges were dismissed by the prosecutor.
On May 19th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 17 year old Albany boy received minor injuries when his 2005 Dodge 1500 hydroplaned on wet pavement on 136 near Bethany.
On May 19th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 22 year old man from Shawnee (KS) was northbound on I-35 near Winston when he ran off the east side, struck the ground, and overturned, giving him minor injuries.
On the night of May 19th, a tornado watch was issued until 9 pm that night, later extended to 11 pm. As much as four inches of rain hit Worth County. A tornado warning was issued for northeast Buchanan County. In Harrison County, hail measuring 1.5 inches was reported near Hatfield. Hail 1.25 inches in diameter was reported near Bethany. Hail measuring two inches in diameter was reported near Albany.
On May 19th, Patrichia Roberts (42) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Harrison County Circuit Court to charges of Domestic Assault (Felony) and Stealing. She was sentenced to 120 days in jail with credit for time served by Judge Matthew Krohn.
On May 19th, Linda Updegraff (57) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Harrison County Circuit Court to a charge of Stealing (Felony). She was placed on five years probation by Judge Matthew Krohn. Defendant must make restitution of $20,000.
On May 20th, the Maryville Forum reported that Jon Worrell (58) of Douglas (GA) was arrested in Nodaway County in conjunction with the 2006 shooting death of his wife, Doris inside the couple’s business in Douglas (GA). He is facing charges of Malicious Murder, Felony Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder, and Aggravated Battery. Later that day, Judge Robert Rice ordered the defendant extradited to Georgia.
On May 20th, Lacy Merys-Reeves (38) of Maryville failed to appear in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court on a charge of Resisting Arrest. A warrant was issued and bond denied.
On May 20th, Joe Hamilton (48) of New Market pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to charges of DWI and Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident). He was fined $700 plus court costs by Judge Robert Rice.
On May 20th, Stephanie Morriss (37) of Maryville failed to appear in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court on a charge of Trespassing. A warrant was issued and bond was set at $100, cash only.
On May 20th, Yusuf Osman (37) of Columbus (OH) failed to appear in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court on charges of Leaving the Scene (Felony) and Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident). A warrant was issued and bond set at $5,000, cash or corporate surety.
On May 20th, Glenn Robinson pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of DWI. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Micha Lea Dixon. Defendant must perform 30 hours of community service.
On May 20th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Nicholas VanHorn (36) of Albany alleging Domestic Assault (Felony). Bond was set at $5,000, cash only.
On May 20th, Leslie Hullinger (51) of Winston pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to charges of Domestic Assault and Resisting Arrest. They were sentenced to 15 days in jail by Judge Micha Lea Dixon with credit for 15 days served. They were placed on two years probation. Defendant must continue counseling. Defendant may have consensual contact with the victim, but may not reside together.
On May 20th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Jeramiah Brittain (27) of Gallatin alleging two counts Violation of Protection Order.
On May 21st, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Jimmy Allen (64) of St. Joseph alleging Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), Tampering with Evidence (Felony), Failure to Register, No Insurance, Displaying Plates of Another, and Speeding. Bond was set at $25,000, cash only.
On May 21st, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Amanda Urban (37) of Albany alleging Domestic Assault (Felony) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Felony). Bond was set at $5,000, cash only. Defendant may have no contact with the victim, put on a GPS monitoring device prior to release, and not be within 900 feet of the victim’s residence.
On May 21st, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Jonathan Kardell (41) of New Prague (MN) alleging Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $20,000, cash only. If bond is posted, defendant must wear GPS device.
On May 22nd, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 23 year old Maryville man received minor injuries when his 2015 Ram 1500 ran off the road near Pickering on 148 at around 1:23 pm after he fell asleep. The vehicle veered off the east side, hit a mailbox, reentered the roadway, went off the west side, struck an embankment, went airborne, and struck the ground.
On May 22nd, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Welden Everett (67) of Cainsville alleging Unlawful Use of a Weapon (Felony). Bond was set at $10,000, cash only. Defendant must have no contact with the victim, stay at least 900 feet away, and wear a GPS device.
Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
