Kambree Briner Gets 9 Assists; Tiger Girls Win Second Straight

Kambree Briner had 9 assists and Worth County continued their recent hot string, grabbing a 52-21 win over St. Joseph Christian Friday at Courtwarming. Worth County has used rebounding to get back on track following a rough three game stretch; they got 43 boards as a team in Friday's game after getting 51 in the Pattonsburg win. With Briner finding the open person at will, the Tigers had three players in double figures as Kristen Tracy had 14, Megan Tracy 13, and Rylee Ruckman 11.

Christian got some good looks from Glise and Wallick, but Megan Tracy went off for the Tigers, scoring three 3-pointers. A Keira Hardy steal led to a three point play from Kambree Briner, and Kristen Tracy scored four points in the period. The Lions got some point production from Olivia Pena, but Worth County had everything they throw go in that period to the tune of 21 points as they led 47-18 after three.

The Lions chipped away to start the fourth as Tori Breazile drove the left baseline and scored and Ansley McDowell added a free throw, but then Kambree Briner got loose on a drive and Kambree Briner got one into Rylee Ruckman to trigger the running clock before Rayleigh Smith added a free throw at the end.
