On January 30th, the Harrison County Commission and the North Harrison Ambulance District filed a lawsuit against the Noel T. Adams Ambulance District in Harrison County Circuit Court seeking an injunction against its non-profit board, North Missouri EMS from entering into any contracts extending beyond April 8th, 2025, at which time a new consolidated ambulance board merging the two ambulance districts will be seated following the Municipal Election.
On February 3rd, Judge Corey Herron issued a warrant in Gentry County Circuit Court for Jagger Moad (22) alleging Failure to Abide by Court Order after the defendant picked up charges in Harrison County following a fatal car wreck. Bond was denied. The defendant had been on probation for No Valid License (Felony).
On February 3rd, Blake Richardson (30) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to a charge of Tampering with Motor Vehicle. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Corey Herron and ordered to pay $750 in restitution.
On February 3rd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Jaiden Hopkins (23) of Hopkins Alleging Sexual Misconduct (Felony). Bond was set at $30,000, cash or corporate surety. An affidavit from the Missouri Department of Corrections alleges that the defendant had sexual contact with an inmate at the Maryville Treatment Center on May 9th while she was employed by the center and the individual in question was an inmate.
On February 4th, Floyd Johnson (59) of Graham failed to appear in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Leaving the Scene. A warrant was issued and bond was set at $250, cash only.
On February 4th, David Robinson (65) of Clarinda failed to appear in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court on charges of DWI and Careless & Imprudent Driving. A warrant was issued and bond was set at $500, cash only.
On February 4th, Presley Davison (19) of Menlo (IA) pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Stealing. They were placed on one year probation by Judge Robert Rice.
On February 4th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 20 year old woman driving a 2006 Ford Mustang failed to recognize the intersection at 282nd Street and Jett Road 2.5 miles east of Maryville and crashed her vehicle. She and a 19 year old passenger received minor injuries and were taken to Mosaic.
On February 4th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Zachary Indovina (33) of Monett (MO) alleging Driving While Revoked (Felony, 5th Offense). Bond was set at $15,000, cash or corporate surety.
On February 5th, Heather Stonebarger (55) of King City failed to appear in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court on a Show Cause hearing (Probation Violation). A warrant was issued and bond set at $100.50, cash only. She had been placed on probation after pleading guilty to No Valid License and Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident).
On February 5th, Tucker Craft (20) of Cameron pleaded guilty in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Harassment. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Joel Miller. Judge Rebecca McGinley had recused herself from the case. Defendant must serve two days shock time in jail with credit for time served. Defendant must complete a “Responsible Use of Social Media” course and have no contact with the victim.
On February 5th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2006 F-250 was sideswiped by an unknown vehicle at the 114 mile marker on I-35 at around 11 am. The other vehicle left the scene. The F-250 left the east side of the roadway, overturned, and struck a guardrail. The driver, a 51 year old man from Oakwood (OK), received minor injuries.
On February 5th, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Wesley Mills (39) of Palatka (FL) alleging DWI (Felony, 8th Offense). Bond was set at $20,000, cash only.
On February 6th, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Randy Carlisle (40) of Cainsville alleging Stealing. An affidavit from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendant stole $1,082 from his employer, Babah’s of Eagleville. Bond was set at $5,000, cash only.
On February 6th, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Wilbur Gingerich (33) of Bethany alleging Sodomy (Felony), Child Molestation (Felony), and Child Abuse (Felony). Bond was set at $250,000, cash only.
On February 6th, Misty Miller (35) of Chillicothe pleaded guilty in Daviess County Circuit Court to a charge of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Felony). Sentencing will be held on April 10th.
On February 6th, Judge Matt Krohn granted a temporary injunction against the Noel Adams Ambulance District for 15 days in Harrison County Circuit Court blocking them from making any contracts that would affect the new combined ambulance board that will be formed from the North Harrison Ambulance District and the Noel Adams Ambulance District after the April 8th Municipal Election. The injunction had been sought by the North Harrison Ambulance District and the Harrison County Commission. A hearing will be held on the matter February 18th.
On February 6th, Judge Corey Herron sentenced Stephen Seeley (46) of Albany to five years probation, 30 days shock time to be served on weekends, $160.50 in fines, plus court costs. The defendant had pleaded guilty in Gentry County Circuit Court to charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), No Valid License (Felony), Speeding, and No Insurance. Defendant must successfully complete a substance abuse evaluation and treatment program within 60 days and follow recommendations.
On February 6th, John Mancuso (24) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Gentry County Circuit Court to charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and Driving While Revoked. Sentencing will be held on March 6th.
On February 6th, Jill Cameron (54) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Gentry County Circuit Court to a charge of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). She was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron. Defendant must enter and successfully complete the 3rd Circuit Alternative Court program and all aftercare.
On February 6th, Judge Joel Miller granted an emergency petition by Marilyn Clinton, sister of the respondent, to appoint Worth County Public Administrator Shelby Troutwine as the conservator and guardian of Marcia Scott (72) of Grant City.
On February 7th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Zachary Indovina (33) of Monett (MO) alleging Driving While Revoked (Felony, 5th Offense). Bond was denied.
On February 8th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 21 year old Grant City man was killed and a 20 year old Grant City man was seriously injured and lifeflighted to Truman Medical Center. A 2011 Dodge Ram was southbound on Route U near Oxford at around 3:27 am when it failed to negotiate a curve. It traveled off the roadway, struck an embankment, went airborne, and overturned multiple times, ejecting the passenger before striking several trees. Subsequently, the deceased person was identified as Zachary Bounds (Corrected from print edition).
On February 8th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Grant Cameron (20) of Grant City in Worth County on charges of DWI (Felony, Death of Another) and Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident).
On February 9th, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Ricardo Tarango (44) of Coffey alleging Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Sexual Misconduct. Bond was denied.
On February 10th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Danny Ireland (63) of King City alleging DWI.
On February 10th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Nicolas Moreno (20) of New Hampton alleging Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident).
On February 10th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Brian Ashworth (49) of St. Joseph alleging Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Valid License, and No Insurance.
On February 10th, Judge Corey Herron issued a warrant for Thomas Gilliland (28) of Pickering following a probation violation report. Bond was denied. The defendant had been on probation for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (Felony).
Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
