Helen Marie (Witmer) Richards, 89, of St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday April 23, 2019, at a local health care facility.
Helen was the daughter of the late Cyrus Russell and Effie Bell (Allen) Witmer. She was born July 10, 1929 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Helen was united in marriage to Othel Richards, he preceded her in death on October 15, 1999.
Helen served many years as an Administrator for Elementary Education. She also was a longtime volunteer with the American Red Cross. Helen was a member of the Ashland United Methodist Church, St. Joseph.
Per her wishes, Mrs. Richards has been cremated under the direction of Andrews-Hann Funeral Home in Grant City. No visitation or services are scheduled.
Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church, 15 East 4th St., Grant City, Missouri.
