On March 25th, Iowa State Assistant Attorney General Douglas Hammerand filed charges in Ringgold County accusing Scott Derscheid of Delphos of Sexual Abuse (Misconduct with an Offender). Bond was set at $10,000, with defendant given leave to post 10% cash.
On March 26th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Angela Smith (19) of Lee’s Summit alleging No Valid Driver’s License.

The Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department says James Meek of Blockton was found parked on the travel portion of CO Hwy P27 North of Diagonal, Iowa the morning of March 27th. The Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department says Meek was passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle. Meek was arrested and booked into the Ringgold County Jail for Operating Under the Influence 3rd Offense and Driving While Barred. Bond was set at $5,000.
On March 27th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Dayton Chaney (46) of Grant City alleging No Valid License.
On March 28th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Dustin Wiley (41) of Mount Ayr in Worth County alleging No Valid License and Ignition Interlock Violation.

On March 29th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against William Teager (28) of Sheridan alleging Leaving the Scene with Property Damage Exceeding $1,000 (Felony).
On March 30th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Carnell Watt (40) of Omaha in Nodaway County on an Atchison County Warrant for Obstructing Police.
On March 30th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Uniquea Davis (25) of Omaha in Nodaway County charges of being a Felony Fugitive from Out of State, Speeding, and No Driver’s License. Bond was denied.
At approximately 1756 on March 31st 2019, Ringgold County dispatch was notified of a single ATV wreck on 170th Avenue in rural Diagonal, Iowa. Officer arrived on scene and found a 2000 Honda Foreman ATV owned by Sobotka resting on its side in the west ditch against a tree. After investigation, it appeared the ATV had a steering malfunction causing Mr. Sobotka to enter the ditch striking a tree. Minor injuries were sustained by Mr. Sobotka and the ATV was totaled. The Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Ringgold County Hospital’s Ambulance and by Diagonal First Responders.
On March 31st, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Kristan Judd (23) of Stanberry in Nodaway County alleging Speeding and Driving While Revoked.
On March 31st, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Jordan Kuonen (21) of Maryville alleging Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On April 2nd, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Franklin Wright (45) of Bethany alleging Driving While Revoked.
On April 2nd, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Caitlyn Wilhite (21) alleging two counts Receiving Stolen Property (Felony). Bond was set at $15,000, Cash or Corporate Surety.
On April 2nd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Robert Belcore (30) of Lake Forest (IL) alleging No Valid Driver’s License and Speeding.
Charges listed are mere allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
