Four Injured, Three Seriously, in Teen Wreck

Four people were injured Sunday April 21st, three seriously in a teen wreck five miles east of Maryville between Maryville and Ravenwood at around 1:45 pm. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 1995 Chevy 1500 Pickup driven by Tristen Emery (19) of Hopkins was northbound and a 2005 Chevy Cavalier driven by Hannah Dennis (20) of Maryville was eastbound on 136. The Patrol says the Chevy Pickup failed to stop at a stop sign. The front passenger of the Cavalier struck the front driver's side of the Pickup. The Pickup went off the north side of 136 and overturned once, coming to rest on its wheels facing west. The Cavalier went off the north side of 136 and came to rest on its wheels facing southeast. Emery was seriously injured, as was a passenger, Tyler Randolph (17) of Ravenwood. Another passenger in the Emery vehicle, Kaitlyn Hulette (18) of Maryville, received moderate injuries. None were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident. Dennis received serious injuries. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. All were taken by Ambulance to Mosaic Medical Center in Maryville.
