Supinger Says he Paid $360 Worth of Taxes on Nielsen Building

Richard Supinger told the Sheridan Express that he bought the Nielsen Building twice at tax sales and paid over $360 worth of unpaid taxes on them before turning around and selling the quit claim deed to someone else. He never followed through and obtained the collector's deed on the building. He said that he has the papers to prove it. The building was owned by Ken Nielsen of Blockton before he was killed in a fire at his home north of Blockton. The City of Grant City condemned the Nielsen building and is in the process of removing the debris. The building collapsed recently following high winds.
