Daden Findley paced Worth County's junior high "B" girls, getting six points in a 20-10 win over Pattonsburg. Daisy Crabtree did all she could for the Panther squad, getting five steals for her team.
The first quarter belonged to the Tigers as Hadley Downing scored off a drive and Ilene Combs scored off an inside shot to make it 4-0. But then Kyndall Hunter came off the bench and went on one of her big scoring spurts in the last 1:26 of the second quarter, scoring six points in that span to tie it up at 6-6, forcing the Tigers to win it all over again.
Hadley Downing broke the tie to start the third and then Daden Findley got a putback. Karleigh Guinn scored off a Hadley Downing steal with 3:41 left to give Worth County some separation at 12-6. Worth County was swarming and pressing all night, but Kentley Plymell showed some promise, going coast to coast and hitting two free throws to cut it to 12-8. But Kyah Joslin and Addie Cadle slashed to the rim in the last 37 seconds to give Worth County a 16-8 lead after three.
Chloe Womble scored from inside for Pattonsburg to cut it to 16-10, but then Worth County started winning the turnover battle down the stretch, and it paid off as Karleigh Guinn and Daden Findley scored off steals to secure the win.
Daden Findley had 6 points. Hadley Downing and Karleigh Guinn had 4, and Ilene Combs, Addie Cadle, and Kyah Joslin had 2 each.
Kaeslyn Briner had 1 block.

Although she didn't score, Teagan Saville controlled the game by pressuring the ball all night, forcing Pattonsburg into turnovers. She and Hadley Downing had 6 steals each. Tatum Allee and Karleigh Guinn had 3, and Addie Cadle and Daden Findley had 2.
For Pattonsburg, Kyndall Hunter had 6, Kentley Plymell had 2, and Chloe Womble 2.
