Funeral Services for Linda Beason, age 73, were held Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 11 AM at Cummings Family Funeral Home. Interment was held at Hopkins Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family to be established.

Linda Lou Beason was born November 11, 1947 in Clarinda, Iowa the daughter of Archie and Marguerite (Douglas) Davison. She attended the New Market school growing up.
She was united in marriage to Robert Floyd Beason, November 26, 1966. The couple was blessed with four children which they raised on a farm in Conway, Iowa. Linda enjoyed raising her kids, tending her garden and canning the produce. She also enjoyed tending to her household and raising chickens. Linda was a devoted Christian who loved spending time in God's word.
As her children grew older she studied and received her GED. She went back to school and received her nursing degree as an LPN from Iowa Western Community College in Clarinda, Iowa. She worked for Dr. Kanti Havaldar in Maryville, Missouri for 8 years and then at Clarinda Regional Health Center for 15 years, working for Dr. Christopher Sporleder, and nurse practitioners Ron Pederson and Beth Hutchinson. She loved her patients and they loved her in return.
Linda loved her grandchildren. They were her life and she always enjoyed them. She spent many hours worrying and praying for each of the grandchildren. Linda would try to go to sporting events, or any activity the grandkids were in. Linda wore many school colors, as the grandkids were in different schools, but she always cheered for whoever they played for.
Linda recently battled the effects of Covid for 6 weeks with a total of 7 days on a ventilator at two different times in Lincoln, Nebraska. She had many ups and downs during her stay but was able to battle one last night close to home. Linda passed away January 10, 2021 at Clarinda Regional Health Center surround by her loving family.
Linda is survived by her husband, Floyd of New Market Iowa; daughter Melissa Davison and husband Don of New Market, Iowa; sons Mike Beason and wife Erica of Mount Pleasant, Iowa; Kenny Beason and wife Paige of Bedford, Iowa; Bryan Beason and wife Brenda of Skidmore, Missouri; grandchildren, Kenton Walston (Kayla Christensen), Jordon Walston (Bria Hoffman), Dana Hughes and husband Kyle, Jenna Walston, Mikayla Beason, Zach Beason, Callie Beason and fiance Riley Weehler, Clelland Beason, Brenton Beason and wife Alexa, and Brody Beason; great-grandson, Hutton Remy Hughes; sisters, Donnabelle Park, Wanda (Bob) Woldruff; brothers, Russelle (Deanna) Davison, Ray (Helen) Davison, Dick (Sharon) Davison, Roger (Sharon) Davison, along with many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Linda is preceded in death by great-grandson Kannon Chael Hughes; sister, Patsy Middleton; brother, Ronnie Davison and her parents, Archie and Marguerite Davison.
