Three people were injured in a head on collision near Eagleville Tuesday, December 1st. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Craynes McGinley (31) of Newton (IA) was southbound on I-35 five miles north of Eagleville, while a 2019 Ford F-559 driven by Randy Allen (32) of Oklahoma City was northbound.
The Patrol says that the Jetta crossed the median and struck the Ford nearly head-on. The Jetta came to rest facing northwest, blocking both northbound lanes of I-35. The Ford traveled off the east side of the roadway and overturned several times, coming to rest on its top.
McGinley was seriously injured and taken to Decatur County Hospital. Allen and a passenger, Joshua Thompson (35) of Perry (OK) received minor injuries and were taken to Harrison County Hospital.
