Maitland Man Seriously Injured on Slick Roads

A Maitland man was seriously injured Wednesday on snow-covered roads. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 1998 Honda CRV driven by Ricky Goodman (28) of Maitland was northbound on 113 two miles north of Skidmore at around 5:45 am on snow covered roadways. He lost control, traveled off the right side, overcorrected, and returned to the road. The vehicle began to overturn and came to rest off the east side of the roadway on its wheels. Goodman was taken to Mosaic Life Care in Maryville. He was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident.
