On January 16, 2020 approximately 1847 hours Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls reporting a semi with an auger taking down powerlines in Tingley. Upon further investigation, there were powerlines and poles down south of Ellston on P64, through Tingley and just north of J20 on Highway 169. No injuries were reported at the time of the accident.
On January 17th, Livingston County Prosecutor Adam Warren filed charges against Ronald Parker (73) of Chula (MO) alleging Animal Abuse (Felony). Northwest Mo Info reported that the case involved the defendant putting several puppies in Ziploc bags, one in a trash bag, and sealing them inside a trash can with a lid on top.
On January 21st, Amanda Jean McDowell of Clarinda was arrested in Buchanan County on two Page County (IA) warrants. She is being charged with four counts Forgery and five counts Theft.
On January 21, 2020, Taylor County K9 Ciba was called to assist Ringgold County on a traffic stop in Diagonal. During the traffic stop Ciba gave a positive alert to the presence of narcotic odor in the vehicle. The subsequent search resulted in the arrest of Jacqueline Snyder, 32, of Diagonal. Snyder was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine 1st offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drug. Snyder was taken to Ringgold County and held without the ability to post bond until she is seen by a Magistrate.
On January 21st, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Bobby Dodge (17) of Albany alleging Careless & Imprudent Driving.

On January 21st, Alan Davis (20) of Redding was northbound on Route P27, which was covered with snow and ice at around 8:18 am. He entered the southbound ditch with his 1994 Dodge Dakota and rolled over once, coming to rest on the passenger side. The vehicle was totaled, and no injuries were reported.
On January 22nd, Douglas Dennis (32) of Eagleville was charged in Harrison County with being a Fugitive from Out of State (Felony).
On January 22nd, Candie Limon (31) of Van Buren (AR) was charged in Harrison County with being a Fugitive from Out of State (Felony).

On January 23rd, a Shenandoah man, James Archer (31), failed to report back to a work release facility in Council Bluffs. The Iowa Department of Corrections reports that he was required to report back to the facility that morning and failed to do so. He is 6 feet tall and 178 pounds. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact local law enforcement.
On January 23rd, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Lee Xiong (37) of Inola (OK) in Harrison County on charges of Trafficking Drugs (Felony), Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (Felony), Driving While Revoked (Felony), No Tail Lights, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Charges were subsequently filed by Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer.
On January 23rd, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Thong Lee (31) of Tulsa (OK) in Harrison County on charges of Trafficking Drugs (Felony), Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (Felony), Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Charges were subsequently filed by Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer.
On January 23rd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Nicole Holtmyer (30) of Burlington Junction alleging No Valid License and Possession Plates Belonging to Another.

On January 23rd, the Harrison County Sheriff’s department arrested Heather Signs (41) of Urbandale (IA) on a charge of being a Fugitive from Out of State (Felony).
On January 23rd, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Randy Hillyard (63) of Bethany alleging DWI and Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway.
On January 23rd, a school bus driven by Daniel Walston (54) of Bedford struck a truck owned by John Ford (52) of Mount Ayr when it was traveling southbound in the Mount Ayr School parking lot on an icy surface. The rear end of the school bus slid on the ice and struck Ford’s truck. There were no injuries.
On January 23rd, a vehicle driven by Lowell Thalman (75) of Ellston (IA) was traveling eastbound on Highway 2 at around 2:14 pm getting ready to turn onto South Hayes Street in Ringgold County. He didn’t see a vehicle driven by Anthony Kinsey (24) of Cainsville at a stop sign and sideswiped him. There was minor damage to the vehicles and no injuries.
On January 24th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department responded to a domestic disturbance in Mount Ayr. While there, they arrested Colton Wills (20) of Mount Ayr on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana. He was being held with no bond until seen by a magistrate.
On January 24th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Kristin Holcomb (32) of Albany alleging 11 counts of Passing a Bad Check (Felony).
On January 25th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Tristan West (18) of Mercer in Harrison County on charges of DWI, Speeding, and No License Plate Lamp.
On January 25th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Danielle Strum (37) of Conception Junction in Nodaway County on charges of DWI and Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway.
On the night of January 25th, someone broke into the Cobbler Cottage on the west side of the Square in Maryville and stole numerous items from the store. If you have information about this crime, please contact Dane Mayes at (660) 541-1157.
On January 26th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department arrested Britni Rinard (20) of Mount Ayr on charges of Child Endangerment, Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs, and Possession of Marijuana.
On January 26th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Will Morin (28) of Grant City alleging Burglary (Felony), Stealing (Felony), Possession of Burglary Tools (Felony), Failure to Register, and Operating a Motor Vehicle Owned by Another Without Insurance.

On January 27th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Beth Miller (57) of Maryville alleging Supplying Liquor to a Minor or Intoxicated Person.
On January 28th, the Gallatin Police Department reported that someone was passing a counterfeit $10 bill at the Dollar General there. It was marked, “For Motion Picture Use Only.” Previously, there were $100 bills circulating in Cameron with the same markings. Anyone with information should contact their local law enforcement.
On January 28th, Buchanan County Judge Patrick Robb sentenced Skylar Harrison (24) to 12 years for the robbery of a gas station in St. Joseph. KQ2 says he had previously been convicted of Burglary and Receiving Stolen Property in Nodaway County back in 2014.
Charges listed are mere allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
