St. Joseph Man Injured in Wreck NE of Eagleville

A St. Joseph man was injured in a wreck eight miles northeast of Eagleville last Wednesday morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2003 Buick LeSabre driven by Robert Maxwell (88) of St. Joseph was eastbound on 324th Street at around 11:15 am when he lost control on the gravel roadway and began skidding. He crossed the center line and traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking an embankment. The vehicle returned to the roadway and began overturning. It came to rest on its top in the roadway. Maxwell received moderate injuries and was taken to Decatur County Hospital.
