Courthouse News for October 23rd, 2019

On 10-06-19 at approximately 5:12 pm Ringgold County deputies noticed black skid marks on Hwy 2 on the east edge of Mt Ayr. Upon further investigation it was determined that an unknown vehicle had lost control. The vehicle entered the north ditch striking the speed limit sign. On 10-10-19 a vehicle was found in Kellerton, with heavy damage. Debris from the scene matched the vehicle. The vehicle was determined to belong to 24-year-old Jonathan Matthew Claus of Kellerton. Claus was charged with Failure to Report an Accident and Striking Fixtures Upon a Highway.

On October 15th, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against James Wilper (38) of Bethany alleging Stealing (Felony) and Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony).

On October 15th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against John Morton (28) of Maryville alleging DWI (Felony).

On October 16th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Jesse Lukehart (30) of St. Joseph in Worth County on charges of Tampering with Motor Vehicle (Felony), Resisting Arrest (Felony), and Possession of Methamphetamine. Subsequently, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges on October 17th.

On October 16th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Justin Dye (18) of Sheridan alleging No Seat Belt.

On October 16th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Lyle Mulkins (60) of Grandview (WA) in Nodaway County on charges of DWI (Commercial Vehicle) and Failure to Drive on Right Half.

On October 16th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Hunter Dugan (19) of Maryville alleging Minor in Possession and Misrepresenting Age to Obtain Liquor.

On October 16th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Lillian Hardcastle (20) of Pacific (MO) alleging Minor in Possession and Misrepresenting Age to Obtain Liquor.

On October 16th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Dalton Hoover (20) of Bogard (MO) alleging Minor in Possession and Misrepresenting Age to Obtain Liquor.

On October 16th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Roberto Beltran-Sotelo (35) of Wichita (KS) alleging No Valid License and Failure to Display Lighted Lamp.

On October 16th, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Luis Moreira (47) of Opa Locka (FL) alleging No Valid Interstate Fuel License.

On October 17th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Kurt Terrebonne (54) of Fort Meade (FL) alleging DWI, Assault, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

On October 17th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Samuel Paulson (25) of Maryville alleging No Valid License and two counts Resisting Arrest.

On October 18th, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Jose David Madrid-Paz (35) of Bethany alleging Abuse or Neglect of a Child (Felony).

On October 18th, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Raymond Breer (27) of Ridgeway alleging Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On October 18th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Joe Downing (51) of Maryville alleging three counts Delivery of Controlled Substance (Felony).

On October 18th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Chad King (36) of Maryville alleging No Valid License.

On October 18th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Larry Miller (26) alleging No Insurance.

On October 18th at around 3:41 pm, Cheryl Roach (58) of Tingley was stopped along Highway 2 east of Mount Ayr when she was waiting to turn into a driveway. Traivyn Holmes (15) of Kellerton didn’t see the vehicle of Roach, swerving and striking the rear drivers side. Holmes was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance. There was minor damage to both Holmes 2011 Kia and Roach’s 2008 Chevy HHR. No injuries were reported at time of accident.

On October 20th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Tina Smith (46) of Adel (IA) in Harrison County on a Johnson County Warrant for Failure to Appear (Speeding).

On October 20, 2019 Amanda Dehart (37) was stopped 1 mile south of Mt Ayr on Hwy. 169 for driving while suspended. Dehart was arrested and is being held in the Ringgold County Jail on $300 bond.

On October 21st, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Troy Giles (43) of Des Moines alleging No Valid Interstate Fuel License.

On October 21st, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against William Purdun (47) of Eagleville alleging No Insurance.

On October 21st, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Charles Dinsmore (74) of Chillicothe alleging Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident).

On October 21st, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Keenan Critten (41) of Jamesport alleging DWI (Felony), Driving While Revoked, and Unlawfully Operating UTV on Highway.

On October 21st, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Chris Shiflett (31) of Worth alleging two counts Speeding (26+ over).

On October 21st, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Alec Lawson (19) of Kansas City alleging Possession of Marijuana, two counts Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Speeding.

On October 21st, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Keison Nemyer (28) of Fairfax alleging DWI and No Tail Lamps.

On October 21st, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Cory Stephen (39) of Cheyenne (WY) alleging Driving While Revoked and Failure to Register.

On October 21st, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against William Johnston (54) of Bethany alleging Displaying Plates Belonging to Another and No Insurance.

On October 21st, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Mitchell Bowers (26) of Maryville alleging Stealing.

On October 22nd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Sean Fletcher (23) of Pickering alleging No Valid License, No Insurance, and No Plates.

Charges listed are mere allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
