Wayne was born in West Bend, Iowa on February 2, 1929. He was married to Jean Junge on July 29th, 1951. To this union they were blessed with 5 children, Gregory, Pamela, Jan, Steven and Dennis.
Wayne was a lifelong farmer who rarely new a lazy day. He enjoyed staying busy each and every day which contributed to his long and happy life. Wayne would continue to exercise daily, do his “therapy” each week and dance regularly with his beloved Ann to stay fit. Wayne also loved the outdoors and spent as much time as he could helping his son on the farm with mowing or anything else that needed to be done. He also thoroughly enjoyed growing flowers in his greenhouse to give to his family and friends.
Wayne is survived by his children, Pamela (John) Wagnor, Jan (Don) DePriest, and Dennis
Perkins; 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and his long time special friend, Anna Mae Burrows.
Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; sons, Greg and Steven and great granddaughter, Addalyn.
Funeral Services with Masonic Rites will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 17 at Eagleville Christian Church, Eagleville, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Eagleville, MO.
Burial with Military Rites will follow in Masonic Cemetery, Eagleville, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Online condolences may be left at www.robersonfuneralhome.com
