The Bluejays got on the board early as DeFreece posted up inside and scored and then Ethan Gascoigne knocked one down to make it 4-0. DeFreece scored six in the last 54 seconds of the first half after a King City pass tipped by Wilmes and Jake Redden wound up in his hands and he scored off a steal. He then cut inside off an inbounds play following a turnover and then cleaned up off a Wilmes steal to put the Bluejays in front 23-4 at the half.

Kephart got a putback, and then Wilmes got a steal and a three point play. He added another free throw off a DeFreece steal, and then Kephart got on the line for two after grabbing an offensive board.
