Bradley Sherer was born July 26, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri to Garland and Vivian (Moss) Sherer. He passed away unexpectedly on the family farm on January 2, 2019 at the age of 61.
Brad graduated from Grant City High School on May 19, 1975. He married Betty (Findley) Sherer. To this union 3 children were born. Michael, David and Carissa. Betty preceded him in death.
He loved being a farmer, raising cattle and crop farming on the homestead. He passed his knowledge on to his children and grandchildren. He was also a self-employed bull dozer operator, worked as a mechanic for Ford in Grant City and a builder for Johnson Controls in Albany, Missouri.
Brad loved watching movies, collecting Star Trek and Doctor Who items. He was always tinkering down in the shop with something. He enjoyed his tech gadgets and electronics.
Also preceding him in death were his father Garland Sherer and father-in-law Bob Findley.
Left to cherish his memory are sons: Michael and wife Maggie (Brewer) Sherer of Kansas City, Missouri, David Sherer and Vanessa Rustad of Goodhue, Minnesota and family: Trentyn, Elayna and Zachary Sherer; daughter: Carissa Snead of Albany, Missouri and family: Paige and Caydee Sherer and Alexis Snead; mother: Vivian Sherer of Grant City, Missouri and mother-in-law: Donna Findley of Albany, Missouri.
Brad enjoyed spending time with his mother, children, grandchildren and friends.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
