Shopko in Albany to Close March 3rd
The Friday St. Joseph News-Press reported that the Shopko in Albany would close on March 3rd. On January 18th, the Fairmont (MN) Sentinel, which has a Shopko there, reported on some of the details regarding the company. Shopko, a corporate chain based in Green Bay (WI), filed for bankruptcy protection Wednesday. Previously, the store had targeted 38 stores for closure. In Wednesday’s filing, the number increased to 105.
