NEN Boys Lose, but Spencer Weir Scores 1,000th Point
Northeast Nodaway’s boys lost 75-36 to Mound City, one of the top teams in the area; however, Spencer Weir scored his 1,000th career point. The boys had been struggling to win games for the last few years; however, they began to get better with Spencer handling the ball and breaking down defenses. Two years ago, they finally got over 10 wins, and last year, they got a winning season and made it to the second round of districts.
