Debbie Thummel Named to Board of Missouri Cattlemen’s Association

At the start of the new year, Debbie Thummel of Sheridan was elected as Region Four Vice President for the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association for this year. She was elected during the 51st Annual Missouri Cattle Industry Convention and Trade Show.

Elected were Bobby Simpson (Salem) as President, Marv Dieckman (Cole Camp) as President-Elect, Matt Hardecke (Wildwood) as Treasurer, and David Dick (Sedalia) as Secretary.

Regional vice presidents were elected based on the region they reside in across the state. Region one will be represented by Adam Kuebler, Edina, Missouri. Chuck Miller from Olean, Missouri, will represent region two. Charlie Besher, Patton, Missouri, will serve region three. Deb Thummel, Sheridan, Missouri, will serve as the region four vice president. The region five vice president will be Bruce Mershon, Buckner, Missouri. Region six will be represented by Clay Doeden, Stockton, Missouri. Traves Merrick, Miller, Missouri, will represent region seven.

Debbie and her husband Jeff operate a farm southeast of Sheridan. They have three grown children – Austin, Chase, and Sydney, all of whom showed cattle while they were growing up.
