Ashley Thompson dropped 17 on Stewartsville and North Nodaway rolled to a 68-21 win over Stewartsville Friday. She returned from an injury she suffered in North Nodaway’s 60-49 loss to Rock Port.
North Nodaway led only 13-7 after one, but then erupted with 20 in the second and 26 in the third to pull away. In the first meeting between the two schools, Thompson was bottled up and North Nodaway did not get out of the gate until early in the second quarter.
Keagan O’Riley had 11, Audrey Trimble had 9, Emma Hart and Kandace Damgar each had 7, Jadon Dobbins 6, Saylor Brown 5, Kristin Herndon 4, and Karissa Oberhauser 2.
Dobbins, Trimble, and Damgar each had threes. North Nodaway was 13 for 19 at the line.
