Exchange student Vici Stellpflug scored her first basket as a Shamrock, nine different players got into the scoring column, and North Harrison easily won over Union Star Tuesday 61-4. North Harrison led 21-2 after one quarter, and shut out the winless Trojans in the second and third quarters, and came away with the victory.
Payton Craig and Brandy Rivet led the scoring with 16 points each, with Rivet getting four 3-pointers. For Payton Craig, Tuesday night’s scoring output pushed her over the 1,600 point mark; she now has 1,601 career points. Mason Cracraft had 7, a season high for her. Emma Craig and Ashlynn Gilpatrick had 6 each, with Gilpatrick hitting two triples. Addie Slaughter had 4, and Rainey Fordyce, Kami Gibson, and Vici Stellpflug rounded out the scoring with two each. As a team, North Harrison shot 25 for 49 from the field.
Payton Craig had 8 boards for the Shamrocks. Kami Gibson had 6, Emma Craig and Addie Slaughter had 5, Olivia Babinski had 4, Vici Stellpflug and Mason Cracraft had 3 each, Rainey Fordyce had 2, and Ashlynn Gilpatrick 1. Stellpflug’s three boards were a high for her.
Payton Craig had 6 assists for North Harrison. Brandy Rivet had 3, Emma Craig, Mason Cracraft, and Olivia Babinski had 2 each, while Rainey Fordyce, Kami Gibson, Ashlynn Gilpatrick, and Addie Slaughter had 1 each.
Payton Craig had 6 steals to lead the Shamrocks. Brandy Rivet had 5, Addie Slaughter had 3, Mason Cracraft had 2, and Emma Craig, Olivia Babinski, and Ashlynn Gilpatrick had 1.
Emma Craig, Payton Craig, and Addie Slaughter had 1 block each.
Brandy Rivet, Emma Craig, and Payton Craig all had 5 tips on defense. Mason Cracraft and Addie Slaughter had 4, while Kami Gibson, Olivia Babinski, and Ashlynn Gilpatrick had 3 each.
The boys won 60-43 to get their eighth win of the year.
