Northeast Nodaway’s cheerleaders will return to perform in the Show-Me Showdown for the third year in a row. They have developed the same kind of reputation for excellence that the basketball teams did back in the 1970’s and 1980’s. On Friday night, during the halftime of the boys game, they put on a light show, dancing to the Beach Boy’s hit tune, “California Girls.”
Cheerleaders this year are Emily Redden, Brea Coulter, Gerry Runde, Maggie Schmitz, Brea Miller, Sarah Linville, Victoria Moran, Paige West, Zayla Carlson, Angela Standiford, Kami Adwell, Delaney McIntyre, and Corby Schmitz. Coaches this year are Beth Russo and Taylor Blevins.
