Obituary -- Glee McClellan 1930-2018

Glee Leslie McClellan left this temporary home while surrounded by his family on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Northwest Medical Center in Albany, Missouri.  Glee was born on December 8, 1930 near Grant City, Missouri to Earl and Ollie (Weigart) McClellan.

Glee was a member of the Grant City Christian Church but had been attending the First Baptist Church for several years. Glee served his country from 1952-1954. He married the love of his life, Marilyn (Fuller) McClellan on February 28, 1954. The would have celebrated 64 years of marriage later this month.

Glee was preceded in death by his parent; great-grandson, Kadyn Don McClellan; sister: Berniece Richards; brothers:  Paul, Earl Wilson and Glenn; mother and father-in-law: Lyle and Mildred Fuller.
Survivors include his wife Marilyn; sons: Randy (Beth) McClellan and Rick (Deanna) McClellan; daughters: Marlene McClellan and Marla (Jeff) Conkle; six grandchildren: Wendy (Steve) Preston, Zack (Liane) McClellan, Kipp (Cara) McClellan, Devon (Shadeow) Ellis, Levi McClellan and Kabrina McClellan; three step-grandchildren: Monica (Jeremy) Green, Candy Stagner, David (Brenda) Smith; five great-grandchildren and six step- great-grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at the First Baptist Church in Albany on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. with services to follow at the church at 2:30. Burial will be in the Grant City Cemetery following the services.

Memorials may be given in lieu of flowers to the Kadyn McClellan Scholarship, Albany Volunteer Fire Department or First Baptist Church in Albany through the funeral home.

Arrangements are under direction of Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City.
