Alice Charlene Wray, 89, Parnell, Missouri died on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at SSM Health St. Francis in Maryville, Missouri.
She was born March 4, 1928 in Skidmore, Missouri to Forrest and Verla (McGinness) Howard. Alice and Lloyd Herschel Wray were married September 6, 1947 in Ravenwood.
She was a graduate of Horace Mann High School and received a teaching certificate from Northwest Missouri State Teacher's College and had been a secretary at the Northeast Nodaway School District, Ravenwood.
Charlene was an active member of the Ravenwood Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Wray (December 21, 1989) and sister Wanda "Joan" Smail.
Surviving are sons, Kenneth Wray, Carrollton, TX, Gerald (Tammy) Wray, Parnell, MO, Larry Wray, Hopkins, MO and Kurby (Theresa) Wray, St. Joseph, MO.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 7th at Price Funeral Home Maryville, MO A visitation will be held Tuesday February 6th from 6:00-8:00, also at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Ravenwood Methodist Church.
