Mount Ayr Teen Injured in Accident Near Allendale

A Mount Ayr teen was injured in a one-car accident south of Allendale Thursday. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2002 Chevy SUV driven by Breea Jackson (17) of Mount Ayr was southbound on Route C four miles south of Allendale at around 4:50 p.m. The vehicle went off the east side of the road, struck an embankment and came to rest. Jackson received minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Northwest Medical Center in Albany.
