Worth County R-III Board of Education sets the dates for filing for the board election on April 7, 2026. Any person wishing to file for the Worth County School District Board of Education may do so in the District Board Secretary’s Office.
Filing will be held Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, through Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025. From Tuesday, Dec. 9, through Friday, Dec. 19, filing hours will be between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The district office will be closed and no filings will be accepted Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, through Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, for winter break. The final day for filing will be Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, from 3 to 5 p.m.
No filings will be accepted when the office is closed due to inclement weather.
An election for three seats on the board will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The seats carry a three-year term. Candidates can email cscadden@wc.k12.mo.us during a closure to set up an appointment to file.
