The Grant City Council, at its meeting Wednesday, voted to give all its employees a $250 Christmas bonus.
City Administrator Lizzie Jeanes reported the sewer project is moving along. White Cloud is working on getting the new sewer main completed on north Briggs. They will let the city know when houses are hooked up.
The city has had a few complaints about dogs.
The shelter house poles have been replaced. The city is looking for grants to fund other park improvements.
Ryan Fletchall reported that the water and sewer lines have been run at the Christian Church. He reported flushing hydrants, completing locates, fixing water leaks, and gathering backflow device inspections.
Tyson Troutwine reported helping with installing water and sewer at the church and helping with water leaks. Rock and sand have been delivered. The council authorized him to spend up to $1,000 on tubes.
