Weekly Area Road Work for September 26th, 2012

The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the Northwest Missouri region for the week of September 24 - September 28, from the Missouri Department of Transportation. Weather conditions may cause postponements in planned work schedules. Other construction or maintenance work may occur on other roadways throughout the area. Many projects will include lane closures, and delays can be expected. MoDOT reminds the public to buckle up, slow down, and drive with extreme caution through work zones.

• U.S. Hwy 71 - From Interstate 29 north to U.S. Hwy 59 (near Savannah); pavement overlay (northbound), September 25 to late October
• Interstate 29 - Northbound bridge at mile marker 55; deck repairs, September 24-28

Atchison County

• U.S. Hwy 136 - CLOSED at the Little Tarkio Creek Bridge; bridge replacement

Gentry County

• Route Z - From U.S. Hwy 69 (Daviess County) to U.S. Hwy 169; pothole patching, September 24-28
• U.S. Hwy 169 - From Route 46 to U.S. Hwy 136; on-going bridge, highway and shoulder improvement project (includes a 10 foot width restriction)
• Route AF - From Clyde (Nodaway County) to Route B; pothole patching, September 24 - 28

• Interstate 35 - Southbound from mile maker 112 (near Iowa State line) to mile marker 106 (near Eagleville); concrete replacement, September 24-28
