Multiple I-29 Projects Planned

The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that multiple projects have been scheduled for Interstate 29 in Buchanan County beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 19 (weather permitting).
  • Wednesday, September 19 (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) - Northbound I-29 at the Pigeon Creek Bridge (38 mile marker). One lane will be closed at a time to seal the bridge.
  • Wednesday, September 19 (7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)- Northbound I-29 at the Easton Saxton Bridge (44 mile marker). One lane will be closed at a time to seal the bridge. At the same time, the I-29 northbound ramp from U.S. Hwy 169 South will CLOSE (7 a.m. to 10 a.m.).
  • Thursday, September 20 (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) - Southbound Interstate 29 at the Pigeon Creek Bridge (38 mile marker). One lane will be closed at a time to seal the bridge.
MoDOT apologizes for any inconvenience that this necessary maintenance work may cause and encourages all motorists to drive safely through work zones to ensure everyone can Arrive Alive.
