Danielle Funk Awarded Gates Scholarship

On Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, Danielle Funk, from Allendale Missouri won 1 of 3 $250 scholarships from the Gates Family Memorial.  She was selected by a non-bias comittee from over 40 applicants from youth in Northwest Missouri.  The fund was set up in memory of the Gates family, and is to be used to further there livestock projects thru 4-H and/or FFA.  She was awarded the scholarship before the sale at the Northwest Missouri State Fair. She plans on using the money to further her SAE projects in either sheep or goats. Danielle is a member of the Worth County FFA, and is a 9 year member of the Allendale Arrows 4-H club.  Her parents are Eric and Gidget Funk, of Allendale, MO
