- Seasonal workers are hired for regular 40-hour work weeks for six months, up to 1,040 hours. Rates are $12.44 hourly.
- Emergency workers are needed also, especially as MoDOT prepares for the snow season. These workers serve in on-call positions for six month time periods in 12-hour shifts either days, or nights and weekends, based on need for weather-related conditions. Hourly rates begin at $13.82. Having a commercial driver's license for both positions is preferred, but not mandatory.

MoDOT Hiring Seasonal and Emergency Workers
For anyone in Northwest Missouri who is looking for seasonal or part-time work,
the Missouri Department of Transportation may be the place for you. Due to
shortages of maintenance personnel in at least fifteen of its 20 maintenance
facilities in the Northwest, MoDOT is looking to immediately hire seasonal and
emergency workers.
