Worth County got a career night from Kynah Steele with 21 points, and they scored a season high 44 points against Princeton, but they couldn’t stop anyone and fell 70-44 to the Blue Tigers Tuesday, January 16th.
Besides their big night from Steele, Worth County had one of their lowest turnover counts in the season with 17, and they were starting to get more people chipping in offensively. But they couldn’t guard anyone, as Princeton, at 11-4 after Tuesday’s game, scored 17 or more points in each quarter before scoring 14 in the fourth, when the game was decided.
Worth County is searching for their first win, and part of it is a product of their brutal schedule. Out of the 12 games they have played, 9 of them have been against teams with winning records. The other three, two against North Andrew and one against Albany, are against teams which can beat anyone on a given night.
For Worth County, Kynah Steele had 21, Keira Hardy had a career high with 6, Brooklyn Richardson 6, Rylee Ruckman 5, Kambree Briner 4, and Riley Ridge 2. The Tigers shot 30% from the field.
