Shamrocks Avenge Gilman City Loss, Win Third Straight

Ethan Henson scored 19 points and six 3-pointers, and North Harrison avenged an earlier loss to Gilman City by winning 61-58 Tuesday, January 2nd. Jerry Gilpatrick had 16, Keygun Johnson 15, Wyatt Maize and Owan Roberson 4, Dustin Hamilton 2, and Kolton Graham 1. North Harrison shot 37% from the field in the win.

After a bad start, in which they were in most of their games but fell short, the Shamrocks turned things around starting with their win over Lamoni. They then beat Stanberry 56-37 and then kept things going after the long break.

The Shamrocks were 8 for 18 from the 3-point line, with Gilpatrick and Maize getting the other two 3-pointers. They were 15 for 26 from the line. They actually shot better from the 3-point line than inside the arc; they shot 32% from inside the arc and 44% outside it.

Keygun Johnson had 12 rebounds to complete a double double. Jerry Gilpatrick had 6, Wyatt Maize 4, Andrew Craig 3, Owan Roberson and Dustin Hamilton 2, and Ethan Henson 1.

Wyatt Maize had 5 assists. Ethan Henson and Jerry Gilpatrick had 2, while Keygun Johnson had 1.

Wyatt Maize had 3 steals. Ethan Henson, Jerry Gilpatrick, and Keygun Johnson had 2, and Dustin Hamilton and Owan Roberson had 1.

In the Stanberry game, Keygun Johnson had 21 points, Wyatt Maize 14, and Andrew Craig had a career high with 11 points. Jerry Gilpatrick had 8, and Dustin Hamilton 3. The Shamrocks shot 39% from the field.

Wyatt Maize had two 3-pointers and Dustin Hamilton one. They were 18 for 32 from the line. They were only 23% from downtown, but 45% inside the arc.

Keygun Johnson had a double double with 13 boards to go with his 21 points. Jerry Gilpatrick had 7, Wyatt Maize and Andrew Craig 4, Kolton Graham and Wyatt Maize 2, and Dustin Hamilton and Owan Roberson 1.

Keygun Johnson had 5 assists. Jerry Gilpatrick had 4, Wyatt Maize 3, and Kyler Kimbrough, Dustin Hamilton, Kolton Graham, and Owan Roberson 1. 

Jerry Gilpatrick and Keygun Johnson had 2 steals. Kolton Graham and Andrew Craig had 1.

Keygun Johnson had 4 blocks and Jerry Gilpatrick had 2.
